LumberJac is a Canadian online publication that features cool innovations you didn’t know you needed until you’ve heard of it—just like the Ground Control, a collection of elevated brass power accessories by Juniper. Our biggest inspiration was NASA’s mid-century control panels that resulted in surface-mounted dimmers, power & double-USB outlets, and a toggle switch.
CONTEMPORARY POWER RECEPTACLES
Juniper introduced two receptacles that can embellish a luxurious charging station, the Ground Control Power Outlet and the Ground Control Double USB Port. All Ground Controls require a 2-in. round cutout on the surface with a maximum thickness of 1.5 in. and at least 2 in. of clearance behind them to make way for the grommet and wires.
MODERN LIGHTING DIMMERS
We innovated two knurled and circular brass-plated dimmers to be standards of high-quality on-dim-off knobs. The Ground Control Dimmer Knob and Dial embrace a satisfying weight that speaks true grandeur. These click-stop dimmers are encouraged to be installed with our THIN System configurations to unify form and function.
MID-CENTURY INSPIRED TOGGLE SWITCH
The Ground Control Toggle Switch is proof that not all on-off switches are created equal. This power switch boasts true brass and can be mounted on counters, desktops, and panels together with other Ground Control power accessories or by itself to reinforce a mid-century modern design.
