The pricing shown in the configurator represents Juniper’s Maximum Advertised Price (MAP)—a consistent public reference for each configuration.

Trade partners, distributors, and design professionals purchase through structured programs that apply defined discounts or volume-based pricing tiers. These adjustments are predictable and aligned with project scale rather than negotiated case by case.

Publishing MAP pricing ensures that the starting point remains visible and consistent for everyone involved in the specification process.

1. Download The System Guide

• Visit the Juniper website and navigate to the Multiverse system page to download the system guide.

2. Create Your Track Layout

• Download the 2D AutoCAD files to design your track layout
• If you don’t have a platform to view/open AutoCAD files, simply send us a drawing or sketch of your Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) or intended design for the track — include desired finish, number of spot heads, and approximate linear foot measurements.

3. Submit Your Lighting Plan

• Email your lighting plan or drawing directly to sales@juniperdesign.com. Our team will help convert your schematic into a linear foot quotation.
• After order confirmation, expect detailed drawings/submittals for your approval, including a full BOM and the number of drivers/power supplies calculated specifically for your project. Give this process a 1–2 week lead time.

4. Custom Color Or Finish

• Provide your color code to our sales team, or send your source swatches to our factory for assessment and color matching
• Ribbon and track heads are eligible for any custom color or finish.
• A new color matching swatch will be sent to you for approval. Allow 1–2 weeks for color matching sample.

5. Review And Approve Drawings

• Once you receive the drawings and BOM from us, review them thoroughly.
• Sign and return the approved drawings to proceed with the order.

6. Understand Pricing And Power Requirements

• Multiverse operates on a 24 V DC (low-voltage) system, which is efficient, safe, and offers easier integration with lighting control systems.
• We provide proprietary remote drivers and power hubs, as well as compatible AC/DC power supplies that can be mounted remotely or locally along the track.
• Pricing is calculated per linear foot; Juniper is not represented by outside rep agencies. Please contact our sales team directly for specific LF rates.

7. Receive Installation Guides

• Prior to your order shipping, an installation guide will be provided to ensure smooth installation. For unique or customized projects, specific installation guides will be supplied.

The hardwired Ground Control System is a true in-wall outlet, designed to meet NEC and UL standards. It’s available for both new construction and retrofit projects, and can be configured with up to three modules, including 65W USB-C chargers or standard power receptacles.

The unit installs flush into drywall, stone, tile, or millwork using a versatile collar system. Removable trims make it easy to update finishes over time—whether for seasonal refreshes or long-term design changes.

Plug-In System (the evolution):

The plug-in Ground Control System is a refined update to the original design, offering a simple, elegant power solution for desks, casegoods, and custom millwork.

An improved captured clamp mechanism ensures a cleaner, more secure fit with no visible hardware.

Juniper Cylinder is our take on a classic silhouette: a minimal, high-performance downlight designed to integrate into refined interiors. Built on the same industry leading light engine as our Red Dot Award winning Multiverse Spotlights, it delivers exceptional light quality with a compact profile. 

The Cylinder family is designed for performance across high-end residential, hospitality, and retail environments. Each fixture is precision-machined from aluminum for optimal thermal performance, and finished in Juniper’s exclusive palette of architectural coatings and patinas.

CRI (Color Rendering Index) and R9 Value

What It Means

CRI measures how accurately a light source renders colors compared to natural light, using eight standard pastel color samples. The scale ranges from 0 to 100, with higher numbers indicating more accurate color rendering. A CRI above 90 is considered excellent, and 95+ is ideal with today’s lighting technology.

Closely related is the R9 value, which measures how accurately a light source reproduces true, vibrant reds—a critical factor in applications such as retail displays, restaurant lighting, and art presentation. An R9 value of 60 or higher is considered good, with higher values delivering even greater accuracy and richness in red tones.

CCT (Correlated Color Temperature)

What Does It Mean?

CCT describes the warmth or coolness of a light’s appearance and is measured in degrees Kelvin (K). Lower values produce warmer, amber-toned light, while higher values produce cooler, bluish light. Around 1900K, the light resembles candlelight, creating a very warm and intimate glow. At 3000K, the light is a warm white, and at 5000K, it is bright and cool, similar to daylight.

CCT plays a significant role in shaping the mood and functionality of a space. Warmer color temperatures between 2400K and 3000K create a relaxed and welcoming environment, making them ideal for living rooms, restaurants, lounges, and bedrooms. Cooler color temperatures between 3000K and 4000K enhance alertness and visibility, making them better suited to offices, healthcare environments, and bathrooms.
