This October, David Irwin is pleased to announce the official UK launch of the M Lamp, designed for Juniper as well as further news on recent product releases.

David developed the prototype for his M Lamp back in 2011 with seed investment from Design Event through the Design Event Presents programme. It has since been put into production with US-based design brand Juniper and David is now returning to his Northern roots for the official UK launch of the M Lamp.After it featured in David’s VIP lounge at designjunction last month, we are excited to announce that we have presented a site-specific installation for the 2015 Northern Design Festival. An array of M Lamps have been suspended from the ceiling of the Assembly House showcasing this innovative design and reflecting the beauty of the Grade II* listed historic building.Barbara Chandler, who opened the event, commented “I was on the judging panel that awarded David Irwin the Young Designer Award from Homes & Gardens in 2013. We were enchanted by his M Lamp, a sophisticated update of the traditional portable miners’ lamp, rechargeable with a strong beam from a head which can be tilted.”
