Not only are they much more durable, they’re incredibly compact and use a fraction of the energy of standard incandescent lamping options. Don’t let their mass fool you, though. They can truly pack a punch, producing 400-500 lumens per segment! The average LED lifespan can reach 15+ years or 50,000 hours, and if you keep your lighting dimmed, it can live even longer.
