DeKauri, a modern bathroom credenza debuted at the 2018 Kitchen Bath Industry Show, has made quite a splash amongst designers upon release. Offering a sleek and modern aesthetic toward an otherwise untouched area of innovation, ancient Kauri wood doors open and close to reveal a stunning collaboration. Daniel Germani, the designer of DeKauri, collaborated with Cosentino, Riva 1920, Fantini Rubinetti, and Juniper for the contemporary bathroom solution. We are proud to contribute the THIN Surface Mount Vanity Light to bracket the clean and simple mirror above Dekton’s clean white basin. Brass construction of the modular LED lights echo futher in Fantini Rubinetti’s brass basin hardware for a luxurious gold finish to complement wood and white tones throughout. After the overwhelming wave of praise and acclaim, DeKauri has made several appearances in magazines and articles worldwide, including Metropolis Magazine. The article describes DeKauri, “bringing together hip Brooklyn-made lighting, classic Italian furniture, a Naoto Fukasawa-designed fixture, a Dekton surface and 50,000-year-old Kauri wood, the unit is an all-in-one, statement-making piece.”
Overseas fans are in luck! DeKauri is set to make another appearance at Salone del Mobile this April in Milan. Register for admission here and get ready to see this stunning work of art.
