Like any other startup business, Juniper first launched with a very small team. Founded in 2011, owner Shant Madjarian followed his passion to build a top luxury lighting brand. He had a vast background in finance which immensely helped Juniper grow into what it is today.

When Juniper was first beginning, its location was blossoming alongside the growing business. We started our brand at a time when Industry City still needed rehabilitation. Three years later, more creative designers, innovative studios, and even food hubs flocked the area. Now, we proudly have an expanding design community. We manufacture luxury lighting fixtures using quality materials, such as solid brass and bronze, because we believe it truly matters. We place strong emphasis on the details to create a complete package, wrapped in precision and finesse. We also use LED lamping in all of our light fixtures to provide more energy efficient solutions with a much longer lifespan than incandescent bulbs.
Our goal is to deliver purposefully designed products that have the ability to change the way we live. We want to provide you with smart lighting solutions to bring convenience to your everyday routine. Focusing on the details and adding practical features to each design bring Juniper lighting to a new level.
Each fixture is designed and assembled under our own roof. This allows complete control over the construction of each fixture, accessory, and component. Our passionate assembly team members are the true masters of our products. Their extreme patience and talent ensure each piece is handled carefully and precisely.
The lighting scene in Industry City used to be far from what you see today. There were only few businesses that resided in the area, Juniper being one of the first. But we wouldn’t be a leading luxury lighting brand in Industry City today without the help of our creative neighbors who built the district into what it is now. Lighting is undeniably an industry that continues to grow strong.
