Claus Porto, a European artisan soap and fragrance brand, just debuted their first international boutique in New York City’s NoLita neighborhood. The intricate interior by Tacklebox Architecture includes 1,500 faceted diamond tiles and Juniper LED lighting, recently featured in Wallpaper*.
The stunning store resembles São Bento railway station in Porto, Portugal. It was a huge inspiration to the 42-feet archway that now houses their elaborately-designed soaps. Claus Porto’s walkway fragrance shop stands almost like a gallery of all their other soap collections, which nod to the art deco period that portrayed luxury and flair.
