MMQB July Issue Covers The New Metropolis Wall Sconce
The Metropolis Wall Sconce embraces a 3.5-in. cylindrical figure. This LED sconce, designed by David Meckley with Huntsman Architectural Group, is a stunning choice of fixture that elevates any modern interior. Shant Madjarian, Juniper founder, believes that because the initial Metropolis Wall-to-Wall and suspended fixtures were a success, a sconce version would unify The Metropolis family. With its solid aluminum rectangular backplate, this fixture is applauded for its luxurious ethos.
An exceptional feature of The Metropolis Wall Sconce is its divided hemispheres that can be individually controlled by a dimmer. This gives users the option to choose between direct downward lighting or reflective upward lighting. First innovated to adorn a workspace, this module exudes powerful lumens reaching up to 6,800LM. Creating softer illumination, however, is still possible with this high-output fixture by simply opting for a hexagonal mesh diffuser. Besides its added function, this also fashions an appealing industrial character to The Metropolis Wall Sconce.
