COLOR TEMPERATURE
What is Color Temperature?
Color temperature is a way to describe the light appearance provided by a light bulb. It is measured in degrees of Kelvin (K) on a scale from 1,000 to 10,000. The light from the sun (daylight) usually falls between 5,000 and 6,000 Kelvin.

Lighting Fixtures
Light fixtures generally range from 2,000 Kelvin to 5,000 Kelvin. The flame from a candle is equal to ~2,000, and a bright white LED is equal to ~5,000 Kelvin. A warm white incandescent is equal to ~2,700-3,000 Kelvin.

Use Case
While there is no rule specifying when to use various color temperatures, typically Living Rooms & Dining Rooms use warmer color temperatures (2700k-3000k), Bathrooms & Kitchens use cooler color temperatures (3000k-3500k), and Office Spaces use the coolest color temperatures (3500k-4000k).

JUNIPER Options
JUNIPER offers 2,700 Kelvin, 3,000 Kelvin, 3,500 Kelvin, and 4,000 Kelvin color temperatures in most of its fixtures.
