Interiors + Sources Reveals Lighting Information

THIN Primaries In Interiors Sources Lighting Science Feature

Interiors + Sources is a design source that tackles trusted commercial interior designers with effective recommendations in the industry. In a recent article, they discussed important lighting information, where Juniper founder and owner, Shant Madjarian, contributed his knowledge to help individuals execute their lighting plans for their dream space.

COLOR TEMPERATURE

With new lighting technologies constantly rolling out, individuals can easily get sidetracked and neglect color temperatures. Warm and cool lighting serve different functions where warm light can create ambiance in lounges, waiting spaces, or living spaces while cool light can better equip spaces where productive tasks are performed.

CRI

Choosing the right color temperature is not enough to perfect your space. Users also have to take the Color Rendering Index (CRI) into account to ensure that the colors under the light source are precise. CRI is measured from 0 (Poor) to 100 (Excellent). We recommend opting for fixtures with a high CRI of at least 90, the CRI standard of all Juniper fixtures.

LED LIFESPAN

LED’s are known to live 5 times longer than incandescent bulbs, with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours or 15 years. But what happens to the fixture when your LED lamping begins to depreciate? This is a long-term concern we wanted to address and our THIN System is the successful result. It boasts rotatable 1/2-inch diameter light segments, which can easily be attached and detached with the help of our magnetic snap-in connectors.

NEED MORE PROFESSIONAL LIGHTING HELP?

With Juniper products‘ elevated standards, purchasing a fixture is truly an investment. Having our clients in mind, we made sure that Juniper is equipped with solid team members comprised of lighting professionals. Should you have any questions prior to obtaining a Juniper fixture, don’t hesitate to voice your concerns to our helpful sales team.
