Metropolis Light Fixture Installed in Neo-Georgian Home in the Logan Square Neighborhood
The couple, Britt Whitfield and Jacqui Scott, bought a house in June 2018, and called in Filoramo Talsma Architecture and Project Interiors to renovate. Designed by the architecture firm Worthmann & Steinbach and completed in 1905, the brick-and-limestone building had 8,000 square feet of interior space and extensive outdoor space. While the exterior was in good shape, the interior needed a total overhaul. They gutted the entire interior, except for the paneled entrance foyer, and began rebuilding the home with features that blended contemporary urban style with a healthy dose of whimsy. Metropolis Light Fixture can be seen in the dining room, which perfectly complements a custom table.
