For many of our fixtures, we offer a local driver, when a junction box is in the ceiling above the fixture, or a remote driver, which can be installed away from the fixture, in a nearby utility closet, cabinet, basement, or attic no further than 50 feet from the fixture, where an electrician can access it easily. For remote driver installation, the driver provided needs to be within 50 feet of your fixture.
We strongly recommend working directly with an electrician for safety and efficiency purposes. Please consult with your electrician on the best wiring method, as installation is dependent on site conditions.
