Owned and operated by hospitality connoisseurs, Chef Andrew Zimmerman and Emmanuel Nony, Proxi offers a hospitality space that captures guests for their Euro-Asian dishes and astonishing interior.
The Designer
The restaurant was designed by Meyer Davis, a coveted interior designer based in New York, specializing in hotels, restaurants, retail stores, and other impressive spaces like the Assemblage Coworking Space in John Street. We worked directly with Meyer Davis to create custom wall sconces and lighting solutions for this modern restaurant design.
The Interior
Proxi is a large open space filled with dining areas and lounges that offer a remarkable culinary experience. Each section has its cohesive aesthetic that stands out in the materials, colors, and shapes used. It is embellished in rich wooden tables and chairs, burnt orange and dark blue leather upholstered booths, and tall windows to emphasize the open layout.
